Claire Burdett

Claire is a marketing and publishing expert and digital strategist with over 20 years of experience. She was an early innovator in social media and is a co-founder of The Media Marketing Co.

A writer/editor by vocation, in the course of her career Claire has written and edited literally thousands of published books, magazines, websites, white papers, tip sheets, articles and eBooks, as well as being a regular blogger.

She is highly respected in the Mum’s sector, having been the editor of Dr Miriam Stoppard’s groundbreaking ‘Conception, Pregnancy and Birth’, which topped the Sunday Times bestsellers’ list for 6 months, and the founder of the UK’s first WAHM site,, which launched in 2003.

A qualified nlp and business coach, Claire helps start ups, work from home and online businesses via She has run three successful businesses of her own as well as launched and promoted many brands and companies, and is an expert in the application of business ‘know how’ to communications strategy.

Claire is currently writing her second book about ‘Social Media for Business’ and is a Brand Ambassador for Vodafone. She is one of the judges at CorpComms Magazine’s forthcoming DigiAwards.
